Start The Countdown!!!

Three week to Fine Arts Day!!! I don't have nearly enough volunteers, I'm short on classes, and I have to get lists out to teachers NEXT WEEK!!!! Wow. I thought I was ok, that I had started early enough. Boy was I wrong. The last few weeks are when all the work is done. But I'll definitely get it done. I'm excited. A little scared, but excited.

Books For Children Are Never For The Children

At least the good ones aren't. The Monster At The End Of This Book, The Paperbag Princess, Where The Sidewalk Ends, The Stinky Cheese Man....Need I go on? These books are all obviously "parent friendly". And I like that.

I have decided to delve into the world of children's literature. I may be rejected and ridiculed, but I'm going to do it! Besides, don't we all know we could do better than some of those "children's authors" out there?

I'll post more in depth as I progress, but won't be posting any pictures or anything. Legal reasons and what-not. Can't have some 14-year-old surfing the net find and "borrow" my ideas. You hear me 14-year-olds?!?!?! I was one of you once! I know what you're thinking!!! :D
